New York Giants edge defender Lorenzo Carter was carted off with what appeared to be an ankle injury early in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Giants were already playing Sunday without Oshane Ximines, who was placed on IR on Friday due to a shoulder injury.
The CBS broadcast announced that Carter has an Achilles tendon injury and is OUT for the game. No word on whether it is a tear, but if it is that would be a season-ending injury.
Dak Prescott carted off
This post is generally reserved for injuries to Giants players, but we have to discuss the gruesome-looking third-quarter injury suffered by Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott. He was carted off with a cast on his right leg after seeming to be severely injured after being tackled by Logan Ryan in the third quarter.
#Cowboys Dak Prescott suffered a compound right ankle fracture and is undergoing surgery tonight.
