Poll results: Giants fans split on hiring of Joe Judge

Giants fans struggled to figure out this move

If you’ve been following the chatter on Twitter or reading the comments here at Big Blue View you likely knew this already, but Giants fans are decidedly split on the hiring of Joe Judge as the team’s head coach.

There were 5,655 votes in our poll asking for a grade on the surprising decision to hire Judge, a 38-year-old special teams coach who has never been a head coach. And yes, I know it’s difficult, maybe even unfair, to try and put a grade on a hire before the guy has even been officially announced as the head coach. Still, the poll was simply a way of quantifying how Giants fans were feeling in the immediate aftermath.

Thirty-one percent (1,768 voters) gave the hiring a B. Twenty-five percent (1,387 voters) graded it as a C.

Fifteen percent (8400 voters) were excited enough to give the Judge hiring an A. Eighteen percent (1,011 voters) were bummed out enough to give the Giants an F.

Complete poll results are below.

I guess the question on the day after what really became Judge Day for the Giants is do you feel any differently a day later than you did immediately upon hearing about the Judge hiring?
