The process leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft is in full swing. We have already had a few All-Star showcase games, but this week the NFL has descended upon Mobile Alabama for the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
The Senior Bowl is the highest profile of the annual All-Star games and provides a stage for the top senior (and some red-shirt junior) prospects in the nation to perform for the NFL. The week of practice leading up to the game is one of the most important parts of the draft process for many teams and can help drive draft stock for any player who performs well.
The Senior Bowl also provides a venue for some of the top small-school prospects to show that they can compete on the same level as players from football powerhouses.
Fans of the New York Giants in particular should pay attention to the Senior Bowl as it has typically figured heavily in their draft prep, and the team has drafted the game’s MVP each of the last three years.
