Good morning, New York Giants fans!

Giants’ Joe Judge is one-liner machine: Patriots star

“Something about Joe Judge you don’t know? He has a great sense of humor,’’ Slater told The Post. “He’s always finding ways to keep us laughing and keep us engaged and allowing us to go out and play free. That ability to make people laugh and keep them engaged in such an intense environment is a good trait to have.’’

This is interesting, but not specific enough. More detail is needed about Judge’s sense of humor.

“He’s got more one-liners than anyone you’ve ever been around.’’ Slater said. “He would always bring them up in a meeting and that goes a long way in keeping guys engaged, keeping guys buying into what he wants them to do.’’

Bill Barnwell calls the trade of Odell Beckham Jr. an “utter failure” for both the Giants and the Cleveland Browns, and uses the opportunity to blast Giants GM Dave Gettleman.

SI’s Conor Orr says the Giants should “resist another spending spree” in free agency, which I agree with. He also says they “shouldn’t feel compelled” to give Leonard Williams a rich free-agent deal. I agree they shouldn’t overspend on Williams, but I think keeping him might be a priority that leads them to overpaying.

In an interview with the Denver Broncos official website, former Giants coach and current Denver offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur offers a big hint that he tried to bring Vic Fangio to the Giants as his defensive coordinator.

Fangio, now Denver’s head coach, was defensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears when Shurmur became head coach of the Giants.
