In every NFL season it seems like there are a few surprising teams that reach the playoffs. Invariably, one or more teams go from worst in their division the year before to first in the current season.
Can the New York Giants, last in the NFC East in 2018, pull that off this season. Only 8 percent of voters in SB Nation’s national FanPulse survey seem to believe they can.

As you can see from the graphic, the Jacksonville Jaguars are the team most voters believe has the best chance of pulling off the feat. Jacksonville made it to the AFC Championship Game in 2017 before falling on hard times last season.
Here are the overall numbers:
Jaguars: 52 percent
Oakland Raiders: 9 percent
New York Jets: 9 percent
Giants: 8 percent
Detroit Lions: 7 percent
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 7 percent
Arizona Cardinals: 5 percent
Cincinnati Bengals: 4 percent
Giants fans remain fairly confident entering the season, with 73 percent showing confidence in the team’s direction.
