As anticipated, the New York Giants will be short at linebacker on Sunday when they face the Washington Redskins. Alec Ogletree (hamstring) and Tae Davis (concussion) have been ruled out.
That leaves the Giants with only rookie Ryan Connelly and journeymen special teamers David Mayo and Nate Stupar at inside linebacker.
Saquon Barkley (high ankle sprain) is, of course, out for several weeks.
There are no other players on the Giants injury list.
For Washington, tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) and center Chase Riulier (knee) are out.
