What an absolutely crazy finish Sunday evening as Daniel Jones and the New York Giants took out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 32-31 on a wild missed field goal. But what may have been more impressive was a crazy second half in which New York came back from a 28-10 deficit.
Needless to say, the social media world went off after the wild ending:

There was a point in the second quarter Daniel Jones went into the huddle and said, “Let’s fu***** score!” Guys were taken aback. Had never seen that side of him, seen him curse. Moments later he pulled a zone read and ran in a touchdown. Had the sideline buzzing. #Giants

With the Knicks and Jets and Mets and Nets and even the Yankees coming up short all decade, Daniel Jones stepping up and winning as he did today for @giants is one of the most exciting New York sports moments in years. For real.

What a game
Poise, guts, athleticism and moxie!#Giants
Bucs blow the the winning field goal, completing the fairytale first start for Daniel Jones. I'm still not sold but he played surprisingly - no, shockingly - well at Tampa. Threw it well, and the kid can move at 6-5. Congrats, Giants fans. For now.

Really, really happy for Daniel Jones. Only one game, but a great start to his NFL career.

Way too many people went out of their way to rip on him over the last calendar year.
