EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion), tight end Garrett Dickerson (quad) and wide receiver Darius Slayton (hamstring) will not play today for the New York Giants when they host the Buffalo Bills
Healthy scratches will be quarterback Alex Tanney, running back Paul Perkins and offensive tackles Chad Slade and Eric Smith. Aside from Shepard, this is the same group that was inactive in Week 1.
That means that wide receiver Cody Latimer, who missed practice time during the week with a calf injury, will play.
Shepard’s concussion is, of course, under investigation by the league and the Player’s Association. Bennie Fowler will start in Shepard’s place.
Inactives for the Bills are wide receiver Andre Roberts, cornerback Taron Johnson, safety Jaquan Johnson, guard Ike Boettger, tackle Conor McDermott, offensive lineman Ryan Bates, tight end Tyler Kroft.
