In an effort to help you get to know a little bit more about the New York Giants and some of their players behind the scenes we are occasionally going to try something here that we will call the ‘Friday Five.” And yes, once upon a time we did that with Patricia Traina.
Now, what we’re going to try and do is get five questions with a Giants player. Some will be serious, some will be light-hearted. This week, rookie EDGE Oshane Ximines played along. Here are his answers to my five questions.
Biggest adjustment from college to the NFL?
“Just getting acclimated with being a pro. Everything you do changes. It’s not like college, where you’re going to get babied through everything. You’ve got to kind of find your routine and make an adjustment quick.”
Best ping pong player on the team?
“Don’t tell nobody I said this but I’m gonna have to go to [Golden] Tate.”
Your own ping pong skills?
“I’m the worst one in the room. I’m terrible. I don’t think I ever won a game.”
The biggest cut-up in the linebacker room?
“I’m gonna definitely go MG [Markus Golden]. He doesn’t try to make people laugh but his personality sometimes will just come off real funny. Or he’ll say or do some things that catch everybody off guard, everybody will just bust out laughing.”
One person you’d like to sit around and have a beer with?
“Von Miller. I feel like I could learn a lot from him in that conversation, and also just have a good time. Von’s personality is great.”
