Will the misery at the wide receiver position ever end for the 2019 New York Giants?

The Giants lost Corey Coleman to a season-ending knee injury the first day of training camp. Sterling Shepard broke his thumb. Darius Slayton has barely seen the field because of a creaky hamstring.

Shepard returned in time to play Week 1 vs. the Dallas Cowboys, but came out of that game with a concussion and his status for Week 2 vs. the Buffalo Bills is in doubt. Slayton remains sidelined. Golden Tate is suspended.

Adding to all of that, Cody Latimer was working on the side with trainers during the early part of Thursday’s practice. Latimer has a calf injury.

The Giants did re-sign T.J. Jones, their leading receiver in the preseason, this week. Jones, Bennie Fowler, Russell Shepard and Cody Core could be the Giants only healthy wide receivers on Sunday.
