New York Giants fans can now officially hate Kyle Lauletta.
The 2018 fourth-rounder draft pick, once thought to be the developmental heir to Eli Manning, is being signed to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad, per his agent.
Excited for @kylelauletta to sign to the @Eagles PS

The Giants released Lauletta as a part of their final cut down from the 90-man roster to their initial 53-man roster. It was thought that Lauletta’s strong showing in the 2019 preseason, capped by a 40-pass game against the New England Patriots, could be enough to move him past Alex Tanney on the Giants’ depth chart.
Alas, that wasn’t to be, nor did the Giants sign Lauletta to their own practice squad.
We certainly wish the now-former Giant all the best as he continues his career, but it would be something of a gut-shot if he is the next quarterback to take over for an injured Carson Wentz and take the Eagles on a run through the playoffs.
