EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York Giants open their preseason Thursday night against the New York Jets, with the debut of quarterback Daniel Jones, the sixth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, being the main attraction for Giants’ fans.
Game time at MetLife Stadium, where the Giants will be the home team, is 7 p.m. The game will be shown nationally on NFL Network and locally on WNBC 4 NY.

Paul Schwartz of the New York Post is reporting that Saquon Barkley will be a healthy scratch, which everyone should have anticipated. Eli Manning is expected to start, play briefly, then turn things over to Jones.
