Good morning, New York Giants fans!

Swing tackle is anyone’s guess

Chad Wheeler? Brian Mihalik? Nick Gates? Chad Slade? Paul Adams? Someone currently on another team’s roster? The Giants either truly don’t know, or at least aren’t committing just yet, to who their primary backup offensive tackle will be.

“We’re going to play this game out (on Thursday) and then we’re going to make a decision on who the backups are,” coach Pat Shurmur said. “It’s that wide open.”

Wide receiver depth

Shurmur has maintained all along that he is comfortable with the Giants depth at wide receiver. He reiterated that on Tuesday.

“I’m very comfortable with the guys that we have. We’re going to put the roster together and get ready to go against Dallas,” he said. “I’m comfortable. Obviously, we’re going to be able to see some things in this game, from the players that are playing, that will help us determine who’s on the 53 (man roster).”
