The New York Giants are getting healthier, judging by the reports from Sunday’s practice at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center.
From what we can glean:
- Sterling Shepard is no longer wearing a splint on the thumb he fractured on Day 1 of training camp.
- Golden Tate (concussion) returned to practice wearing a yellow non-contract jersey.
- Cornerback DeAndre Baker (knee) did some work in 11-on-11 periods, splitting time with Corey Ballentine.
- Linebacker Alec Ogletree (calf) returned to practice.
- Sam Beal (hamstring/groin) did individual work.
- Rod Smith (groin) and safety Kenny Ladler did not practice.
- George Asafo-Adjei (concussion) and cornerback Antonio Hamilton (groin) worked on the side. This is the first time Asafo-Adjei has been seen out at practice in nearly a month.
- Linebacker Josiah Tauaefa participated while wearing a non-contact jersey.
