The New York Giants have announced the signing of CB Terrell Sinkfield, filling their open roster spot.

Sinkfield was originally signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Iowa following the 2013 NFL draft.

Since 2013 he has been exceptionally well-traveled, playing for seven different NFL teams, three different CFL teams, and in the short-lived AAF. This is actually Sinkfield's second stint with the Giants, as he was signed on August 21st of 2013, only to be waived on the 25th.

He was an exceptional athlete coming out of college, running an unofficial 4.19 second 40-yard dash at Minnesota's pro day. Sinkfield is listed as a cornerback but also has experience on the offensive side of the ball, as well as experience as a returner.

It could be interesting to see how the Giants use him.
