EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Training camp practice for the New York Giants is closed to the public on Thursday due to a ‘Rolling Stones’ concert at MetLife Stadium. No ‘Satisfaction’ for those who wanted to attend training camp.
Oh, and sorry for the reference to a Stones song. I’m sitting here in a cubicle at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center wondering how the heck I’m getting out of this place this evening just a couple of hours before the Stones hit the stage. I guess that’s my ‘Beast of Burden’ for the day. So, yeah, Mick Jagger and Co. are on my mind.
Shoot, I’m wondering how many of these young Giants even know who the Rolling Stones are.
Anyway, back to football. Keep it here for your live updates all day as the Giants practice on what looks like it will be a gorgeous afternoon.
