NFL: New York Giants at Denver Broncos Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, New York Giants fans!

Rookie CB DeAndre Baker already impressing the Giants and he hasn’t even put on the pads yet - New York Daily News

Baker had a good spring without being able to do the thing he is said to do best — press receivers and be physical.

'Sky's the limit': Sam Beal's college coach expects big things for Giants cornerback in first season | SNY

"If he can stay healthy, the sky's the limit. Because he has the trifecta: he's got the size, the speed, and the competitiveness. If you get those three things, it's really, really hard to simulate that."

Former AAF owner Tom Dundon charges ‘misrepresentations,’ wants his $70 million back – The Athletic

Good luck with that.

Joe Theismann: 'Best scenario' for Dwayne Haskins is to sit rookie year - Washington Times

“To me, the best scenario for Dwayne would be this — is to sit this year, Case plays, Colt (McCoy) comes back, is healthy enough to be able to be in competition and/or a part of the ball club … and give Dwayne a chance to process everything,” Theismann said.

Of course it is the best scenario. Of course it won’t happen.

This can be Eli Manning's best Giants offensive line in years

This does not look to be a dominant line. Other than a torrid stretch in 2008, the lines that helped Manning win Super Bowl XLII and XLVI were more workmanlike than dominant. The potential is there for this to be a better-than-average unit that at times might get beat physically but not mentally. This would be a quantum leap forward for the Giants. If you look up “prototype NFL guard, circa 1960’’ a picture of the thickly muscled Zeitler should pop up. This is a “now’’ line, with Solder (31), Remmers (30) and Zeitler (29) with 283 NFL games of wear and tear.

This is actually a pretty solid assessment of the line. The Giants could use more depth and more youth, but this line should be better than any the Giants have fielded in quite some time.

2019 NFL schedule rankings, NFC East: Cowboys face rough ride, Eagles have easiest schedule in the NFC - CBSSports.com

According to this ranking the Giants have one of the league’s easier schedules, but not the easiest in the NFC East.

Jonah Williams injury: Cincinnati Bengals top draft pick to miss season

You know what this means? It means that Giants’ castoffs Bobby Hart and John Jerry could wind up playing for Cincinnati. Really.
