Yes, that goes too far. Those who ripped on Jones for months leading up to the draft and then blasted GM Dave Gettleman for picking him No. 6 overall shouldn’t be surprised or offended. They are at least partially to blame for that.

What I’m interested to see is how the Giants use him in the passing game. That is where I believe Barkley can do the most damage, especially if teams crowd the line of scrimmage to defend the run.
