Josh Rosen trade rumors: Cardinals quarterback ‘is going to be moved’ | AZ Central

We have been talking about the possibility of Josh Rosen ending up with the Giants for a while, and have been telling you that the likely price is a second-round pick. Wednesday, a report surfaced that the Giants could be one of three teams that have already spoken to Arizona about Rosen, and that one of those teams has already offered a second-round pick.

From Joel Klatt of Fox Sports:

“There are 3 teams that I have heard and I know are very interested in Josh Rosen and that’s New England, that’s the New York Giants, and that’s the L.A. Chargers,” Klatt said on the segment with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe. “One of those have already offered a 2nd-round pick.”

Klatt continued: “Those are the three teams that have expressed some interest. There is one of those that has offered firmly a second round pick for Josh Rosen. Arizona is waiting for a first. I don’t think they’ll get it, but right now there is a second round pick on the table.

”He’s going to get moved, but what’s the price? I think they are kind of waiting for the timing and ultimately what is that second-round pick, but I don’t think they are going to get a first for him.”

Answering questions while participating in an NYIT Center for Sports Medicine/Head Injury Association panel discussion, Manning said the recently-traded Odell Beckham Jr. was “probably” the most gifted athlete he has ever played with.

Manning also sounded enthusiastic entering his 16th NFL season.

Asked what keeps him going, he said, “I haven’t had that thought yet: Do I want to do it again? And if I had, it’s always been 100 percent yes, yes, yes. I love what I do. I love playing football. I love playing quarterback for the New York Giants.”
