March Madness ... Giants style: Let’s vote on a Giants Mount Rushmore

The BBV staff seeded the top 64 players in franchise history. You decide who is the greatest of all-time.

Phoenix Cardinals vs New York Giants
Lawrence Taylor earned a No. 1 seed. But is he the greatest?

Lawrence Taylor?

Frank Gifford?

Harry Carson? Michael Strahan? Sam Huff?

Or for that matter, Eli Manning or Phil Simms? Charlie Conerly or Y.A. Tittle or Fran Tarkenton?

To celebrate March Madness — and occupy ourselves now that the opening burst of free agency is behind us and the NFL Draft remains weeks away — the Big Blue View staff has selected the top 64 players in Giants history.

Staffers nominated the players, spanning all eras. Editor Ed Valentine then used a points system to determine the 64 who made the cut and seed them.

We then broke the players down tournament-style into four regions in honor of late owner Wellington Mara and coaches Bill Parcells, Tom Coughlin and Steve Owen.

This is where you come in.

You will pick the winner of each matchup, culminating in the Giant you choose as the greatest of all-time.

Here’s a peek at the brackets and first-round matchups. Voting will begin Monday morning:

The Mara Region

The Parcells Region

The Coughlin Region

The Owen Region
