Dianna Russini of ESPN may not believe the New York Giants will draft Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Mock drafters still do. Overwhelmingly.
In our latest mock draft tracker, 27 of 44 mocks have the Giants taking Haskins at No. 6 — or trading up to get him. That’s 61.4 percent. In the SB Nation flagship mock draft tracker, 76 percent of the drafts used have the Giants selecting Haskins.
If the Giants choose to pass on Haskins, offensive tackle and edge defender are the most likely options. As of now, the Giants have yet to make a move at either of those positions during the NFL free agency negotiating window.
