In perhaps the clearest signal yet that there could be a divide between New York Giants co-owners Steve Tisch and John Mara over how to proceed after another disappointing season, the New York Post is reporting the owners could be “at odds” over the fates of GM Dave Gettleman and head coach Pat Shurmur.

The Post’s George Willis reported that a pair of sources indicated “Tisch has seen enough and wants a fresh start with a new GM and head coach, while John Mara wants to wait until the outcome of Sunday’s season finale against the Eagles at MetLife Stadium before making a decision.”

Willis also wrote that “Tisch is said to believe retaining either Shurmur or Gettleman is delaying the inevitable.”

This is not the first time there have been indications that Tisch is more eager for widespread change to the organization than Mara.

We wrote Friday that it appears Tisch is in favor of a reset while Mara has been said to be less certain that a complete overhaul is the way to go.

Willis also reported that a decision appears likely to come on Monday.
