What went wrong and what went right (if anything) in the Giants loss to Philly?

NFL: DEC 09 Giants at Eagles

The New York Giants have now lost nine games in a row, tying a franchise record with their 23-17 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

It was a game the Giants could have — should have — won as they went into halftime with a commanding 17-3 lead over their division rivals. But those would be the last points, and very nearly the last yards, the Giants would get for the rest of the night. Over the final two quarters, the Giants would gain a total of 23 yards and would be outscored 20-0.

As usual, The Chris and Joe Show will be offering our reactions to the game. Because this is a short week, we will only have one post-game show so we have time to turn the page to the Miami Dolphins.

In This Podcast

  • Darius Slayton’s big day
  • What went wrong in the second half
  • How did the Giants let Boston Scott break out?
  • What happened with the Giants’ play calling?
  • Sam Beal’s struggles in the second half.
