Good morning, New York Giants fans!
Giants work out placekickers
Well, you can officially say that the Giants put struggling placekicker Aldrick Rosas on notice Tuesday. Per Aaron Wilson, the Giants worked out placekickers Giorgio Tavecchio, Blair Walsh, Austin MacGinnis and Cole Hedlund
Tavecchio went 16 of 21 (76.2 percent) in a full season with the Oakland Raiders in 2017. He kicked in three games for the Atlanta Falcons last season, making all five of his field goal attempts and all eight of his extra points. His career-long field goal is 56 yards.
Walsh spent five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and kicked for the Seattle Seahawks in 2017. He has been out of the league since. Walsh has made 82.4 percent of his field goal attempts during his career.
MacGinnis tried out with the Chicago Bears in each of the past two seasons. Hedlund is an undrafted rookie who was cut by the Indianapolis Colts at the end of training camp.
