New York Giants safety Jabrill Peppers suffered a hip injury Sunday during a loss to the Bears. He did not play in the second half and was spotted in the locker room after the game in visible pain.
Jabrill Peppers (hip) in a tremendous amount of pain in the locker room. Got hit on the kickoff return to end the first half. MRI on Monday. He's hoping it won't keep him out. "I'm tough. I'm hoping it's something I can tough through."

According to USA Today’s Art Stapleton, Peppers asked the coaching staff to allow him to return the final kickoff of the first half. That decision ended up being costly for the Giants starting strong safety, as that is when Peppers suffered his injury.
More information on Peppers’ status will be available after his MRI on Monday.
