They say time heals all wounds. Maybe that is the case for at least some of the New York Giants fans who vote in our weekly FanPulse survey.
After a bye and more than a week removed from the jarring loss to the New York Jets that saw the team fall to 2-8, fan confidence in the direction of the team rose slightly. In this week’s poll 17 percent of our voters said they were confident, up from 8 percent in the immediate aftermath of losing to the Jets.
That doesn’t exactly mean the fan base as a whole feels good about the team. It is just interesting that, with nothing having changed since the loss to the Jets, the numbers changed.
The Giants, losers of six straight games, are 6-point underdogs this week on the road against the 4-6 Chicago Bears.
