EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York Giants makeshift offensive line suffered another blow in the second quarter Sunday when Nate Solder left the game in the second quarter with a concussion.
These are the first snaps Solder has missed in his two seasons with the Giants.
The Giants were already missing starting center Jon Halapio and starting right tackle Mike Remmers.
Spencer Pulley is at center. The Giants are currently using Eric Smith at left tackle and Nick Gates at right tackle. Prior to Sunday, Giants starting offensive linemen had missed one snap this season.
Janoris Jenkins, too
Jenkins left the game in the fourth quarter with the Jets driving for a field goal that made the score 34-27, Jets. He was being evaluated for a possible concussion. Sam Beal took over for Jenkins, getting his first NFL action.
