For wide receiver Sterling Shepard and cornerback Corey Ballentine of the New York Giants, both in the NFL’s concussion protocol, their status remains a game of wait and see.

Both practiced fully with the New York Giants on Thursday, but have yet to be cleared to return to game action.

Shepard, coming back from his second concussion of the season, has missed the last three games and four overall this season. Ballentine has missed the last two games.

Cornerback Grant Haley (knee) was the only other Giant on the injury list. He also practiced fully.

If Shepard is cleared, that would mean the Giants would finally have Shepard, Saquon Barkley, Evan Engram and Golden Tate all available on offense.

The 2-6 Giants face the NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys (4-3) this Monday night at MetLife Stadium.
