Good morning, New York Giants fans!

Engram: Barkley “made in a lab”

Tight end Evan Engram can’t believe running back Saquon Barkley is running and cutting less than two weeks after suffering a high ankle sprain.

“I don’t know how — that’s just crazy,” Engram said on Wednesday. “I think his body is just made in a lab, I don’t know. I’m happy, though, it was good to see. I’m glad everything is coming along recovery-wise, and now it’s just being smart with it and not trying to rush anything.”

Antoine Bethea on defending the Vikings

Minnesota has been a run-first team with a tremendous running back in Dalvin Cook, struggling passing attack. How do the Giants defend the Vikings?

“Stop the run. They’ve got a good run game, one of the best in the league,” Bethea said. “Then after that, we’ve got to negate the deep throws, don’t let the ball go over our head, and try to carry over from last week—create turnovers, tackle well, and get the offense the ball back.”
