Dallas Cowboys defensive end Damarcus Lawrence has enjoyed trolling Eli Manning of the New York Giants the past couple of seasons.
There was this via Twitter two seasons ago when the Giants drafted Saquon Barkley rather than Sam Darnold or another quarterback:
“Here’s to the @Giants NOT drafting a QB. #ILikeEli#KeepEli”
Day for a lot of youngsters out there! @NFL Draft day! Here’s to the @Giants NOT drafting a QB. #ILikeEli #KeepEli. pic.twitter.com/QlM25Nur9p

This season, in advance of the Giants-Cowboys season opener, Lawrence said
“You dream of nights like this: Sunday Night Football, all the lights, No. 10 just sitting back in the pocket.”
Well, the Giants have a new quarterback now, and while being as diplomatic toward Manning as he could perhaps bring himself to be, Lawrence referred to rookie Daniel Jones a “little Manning.”
Cowboys DE DeMarcus Lawrence on Giants rookie QB Daniel Jones: “I feel like they did a great job getting another Eli.”

DeMarcus Lawrence elaborated: “Eli is probably a soon-to-be Hall of Fame player. He’s won Super Bowls. You can’t sit here and say Eli is a bad player. But age does catch up to us. I guess it caught up to him. They got another one, another little Manning. It’ll be good for them.”

There was also this:
Lawrence complimented Daniel Jones playing with heart.

"He’s got a strong arm, he’s athletic. He can be good in this league. But he’s also got to play us twice a year. I’m just thankful for the Giants and thankful for the Cowboys for bringing me back."
Difference is this “little Manning” can run, so Lawrence isn’t going to find him “just sitting back in the pocket.”
The Giants and Cowboys, of course meet in Week 9 at MetLife Stadium in a Monday Night Football matchup.
