For the first time in NFL history, the New York Giants and New York Jets executed a trade. That is, of course, the Giants trade for defensive tackle Leonard Williams.
Considering that the defensive line has been the strength of the Giants’ defense, the move to spend draft capital to acquire another defensive lineman — and not a player at a position of need or additional draft capital and cap space for 2020 — has had Giants’ fans scratching their heads.
Joe and I decided to sit down and puzzle our way through the trade and see whether it really makes sense for the Giants.
