The New York Giants welcome the Arizona Cardinals to town Sunday afternoon in a battle of rookie QBs. Daniel Jones and Kyler Murray face similar situations: both quarterbacks have performed admirably as rookies (Murray arguably more than Jones), and both are playing with below-average defenses.

This game could go either way. It should be a fun shootout showcasing two emerging young stars of the game.

Jones won’t have wide receiver Sterling Shepard but he will have his two best weapons in running back Saquon Barkley and tight end Evan Engram. He’ll also look to get wide receiver Golden Tate going. Tate led the team with six catches for 102 yards and a score last week. He has 18 catches for 181 yards (90.5 yards per game) in his past two contests vs. Arizona.

On Arizona’s side, the Cardinals got both David Johnson and Maxx Williams back in practixe on Thursday in a limited capacity while coming back from ankle issues. They joined rehabbing Christian Kirk, who could be ready to go for Sunday.
