When the Super Bowl ends and New England Patriots defensive coordinator Brian Flores becomes head coach of the Miami Dolphins, it appears he will be taking a member of Pat Shurmur’s New York Giants coaching staff with him.
Giants outside linebackers coach Robbie Leonard is reportedly joining Flores in Miami.
Leonard is no longer listed as a coach on the Giants’ official website. He would be the second member of the staff to leave. Assistant defensive backs coach Deshea Townsend left to become secondary coach of the Chicago Bears.
Former Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo recently got that same job with the Kansas City Chiefs. Former special teams coordinator Tom Quinn interviewed recently with the Green Bay Packers.
Ex-head coach Ben McAdoo remains out of the league.
