The pre-draft process leading to the 2019 NFL Draft kicked into high gear this week with practices for this weekend’s East-West Shrine Game. The New York Giants, of course, have boots on the ground watching players.

The Giants also, though, have a coach on the inside. Giants tight ends coach Lunda Wells is coaching the offensive linemen on the East team. Wells is the Giants tight ends coach and formerly an assistant offensive line coach.

Wells being on the East staff headed by Sam Mills caught my attention simply because of the likelihood the Giants will be searching for new “hog mollies” in the upcoming draft. Here are the names of the offensive linemen on the East roster:

Sean Rawlings, C, Mississippi
Tyler Jones, G, N.C. State [prospect profile]
Alec Eberle, C, Florida State
Lamont Gaillard, C, Georgia
Olisaemeka Udoh, OT, Elon
Justin Skule, OT, Vanderbilt
Bunchy Stalling, G, Kentucky
Joshua Miles, G, Morgan State
Nick Allegretti, C, Illinois
Ethan Greenridge, T, Villanova
Martez Ivey, T, Florida
Tyree St. Louis, T, Miami

I’m really just tossing this out there in the event any of these young men end up with the Giants. Just keep in mind that the Giants are getting an up-close look at these guys this week.
