My view

Well the pre-season is over and the original 53 man is set, but we expect a few changes, possibly even before Sunday's game against the Jags. I look forward to reading all of your views on this preseason, and here is mine. I am not really sure that this preseason has prepared us for the regular season, but obviously, I hope I am wrong.

Offensively, there doesn't seem to be a rhythm in preseason games, but our big weapons got limited opportunities. The most important part, the O-line, seemed to get better and develop some chemistry each week, and I am looking forward to seeing them continue to grow. The presence of Beckham and Barkley completely changes the offense that we saw in preseason. I am happy that Martin was kept as an extra RB, sad that Brett Jones is a Viking and surprised that we have 4 QB's on the 53 man squad.

Defensively, I have absolutely no idea what to expect. I think our front will be a force against the run, but can they get pressure against the pass to support the secondary. I'm really happy with the corners and safeties we have, but depth is usually a necessity. I think we will need at least one more corner sometime this season. Happy for Donte Deayon, sad to see Avery Moss go and surprised there are only 4 CBs.

I really feel our special teams looked good this preseason. We had lots of room to improve, but I think we've done that. My one concern is with our return men. It looked to me like most of the good things they did was because of good blocking, and nothing special that they've done. I'm scared to see Sharp deep, but I think the people around him will do a great job.

I am very excited for regular season football. Go GIANTS!!
