Good morning, New York Giants fans! Today is an off day for players as they get ready to face the Cleveland Browns in Thursday night’s preseason opener.
Shurmur won’t divulge playing time
Giants coach Pat Shurmur didn’t want to get into who would play vs. the Browns on thursday, and how much guys like Eli Manning, Sqquon Barkley and Odell Beckham jr,. would play.
“Every player will receive the consideration necessary with regard to the play time,” Shurmur said on Tuesday. “I think we’ve got to give them what they need and, again, they’re all at different stages of being ready to play in Week 1, so we just try to balance it and make good decisions.”
