The 208-19 NFL season gets its start on Thursday night as the Chicago Bears take on the Baltimore Ravens in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. The game is slated to start at 8 p.m. and can be found on NBC.

The Bears come into tonight's game off a 5-11 2017 season, one in which head coach John Fox was fired after three years with the team. Chicago has replaced Fox with first-year coach Matt Nagy. Nagy is implementing a new offense this season and is not worried about how second-year quarterback Mitchell Tribusky picking it up. Tribusky will get his first snaps under center in this new offense tonight.

The Ravens are coming off a 9-7 2017 season, just missing the playoffs. This offseason, the team drafted Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson in the first round of the NFL Draft, putting pressure on Joe Flacco to step up his game this season. Fans should get a first look at Jackson tonight.

Neither team is expected to play their starters for much time at all. The Hall of Fame Game traditionally is a chance for draftees and non draftees to compete for spots on the roster.
