Giants training camp: Sights and sounds from Saturday’s padded practice

The offense makes some highlight plays in the Giants’ first padded practice

The New York Giants were back on the field Saturday afternoon, and for the first time this training camp they were in pads.

It looks like the weather is as happy as the rest of us are to see the Giants put the pads on and cooperated (unlike Friday). And how happy are the rest of us? Well, Giants fans came out in force:

And we do have photographic and videographic evidence of that the Giants will indeed have their first padded practice. It’s really starting to look like football out here

Practice is in full swing with the Giants’ second leading rushing touchdown producer from a year ago is showing off his wheels once again.

Hopefully the Giants won’t be relying on Eli Manning’s running prowess to produce touchdowns and these two guys will do it for him:

The first being Odell Beckham Jr. who had one of the highlight plays in Friday’s practice, and he delivers with yet another in pads today.

And the Giants are counting on Saquon Barkley to make plenty more plays like this in the years to come:

All of the Giants’ quarterbacks are getting work in.

It’s not all offense, the defense is getting work done as well:
