The New York Giants were back on the field Saturday afternoon, and for the first time this training camp they were in pads.
It looks like the weather is as happy as the rest of us are to see the Giants put the pads on and cooperated (unlike Friday). And how happy are the rest of us? Well, Giants fans came out in force:

And we do have photographic and videographic evidence of that the Giants will indeed have their first padded practice. It’s really starting to look like football out here

Practice is in full swing with the Giants’ second leading rushing touchdown producer from a year ago is showing off his wheels once again.

Hopefully the Giants won’t be relying on Eli Manning’s running prowess to produce touchdowns and these two guys will do it for him:
The first being Odell Beckham Jr. who had one of the highlight plays in Friday’s practice, and he delivers with yet another in pads today.

And the Giants are counting on Saquon Barkley to make plenty more plays like this in the years to come:

All of the Giants’ quarterbacks are getting work in.

It’s not all offense, the defense is getting work done as well:

Later, in team drills, cornerback Donte Deayon picked off Davis Webb when he was hit as he threw:

And now some team drills:

Next we go to 7-on-7’s where Eli Manning once again finds Saquon Barkley for the touchdown:

And finally, situational football and the offense converts a third down to keep the (hypothetical) drive alive:
