Do the New York Giants need to tweak their uniforms?

What do you like, dislike about the Giants’ uniforms?

Our friends at the SB Nation flagship are doing theme weeks throughout the year, and this week’s theme for NFL teams is “jerseys and mascots.” The New York Giants don’t have a mascot, unless of course you count License Plate Guy (sorry, Joe — let’s still be friends!)

So, that leaves us to talk about uniforms.

The SB Nation flagship looked at uniforms most in need of an upgrade. The Giants did not make the list, but if they were to tweak their uniforms what would you like to see?

Personally, I love the white Color Rush jerseys the Giants have worn. To me, it’s a much cleaner look than their regular uniforms. I would love to see them all the time.

There are two small things I would change if I ruled the Giants kingdom.

First, I dislike those dismal, boring gray pants. Again, I much prefer the white ones they wear on occasion. I would make those part of the standard uniform.

Second, a question. The Giants are known as Big Blue. Why, then, are the stripes in the shoulders of their road jerseys red instead of blue? It’s a small thing, but it annoys me.

Here’s another thing to ponder, and one I can go either way on. Are you a fan of the lowercase “ny” on the helmet or would you prefer to see “Giants?”
