Giants news, 7/16: The last week without football is here!

Good morning, New York Giants fans! We are entering the final week without football as the full squad reports for training camp on July 25. To be honest, there isn’t a whole lot of Giants news. So, let’s look ahead to what we have coming up here at Big Blue View and some of what you might have missed over the weekend.

Coming up this week

• Our series of 90-man roster profiles will continue. Lots of interesting ones — Darian Thompson, Olivier Vernon, Davis Webb among them — still to come.
• We are going position-by-position through the roster. Chris is handling defense. Yours truly will handle offense and special teams.
• Our Summer School series should wrap up this week.
• At some point before camp opens there will also be another 53-man roster profile and probably a power ranking of the 20 most important Giants heading into the season.
