The New York Giants rookies take the field Friday for the first time as Giants. .
Butit will be Saquon Barkley who will be the focus of everyone’s attention. All eyes will be on the second overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft. While fans and coaches alike will be looking for the next rookie surprise or diamond in the rough, Barkley is sure to be the star of the weekend. His rare blend of size, speed, agility, and explosiveness is going to leap off the field in non-contact practices.
The Giants’ front office has sky-high expectations for Barkley, and his new head coach simply wants him to be the best he can be.
Barkley himself wants to be a Hall of Fame player, but is setting his sights on remaining humble and hard working.
Today is when the rubber meets the road and the first step on his journey as a Giant, so we wanted to bring you every moment we could from Barkley's first practice.

I thought Barkley had a little stutter step when working against the sled. But when he hit it, he got good leverage.
