Now we know why Tavarres King was on Instagram earlier Thursday posting a goodbye to the New York Giants organization and fan base. King has been signed by the Minnesota Vikings.

King, 27, caught a career-high 18 passes in eight games during the 2017 season. He has 22 receptions in a career that began in 2014. He was waived by the Giants at the beginning of the season due to an injury, but was brought back when the wide receiver position was decimated by more serious injuries.
King caught two passes for the Giants in 2016.
With the NFL Draft looming, the Giants have questions at wide receiver beyond Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard.
Brandon Marshall was, at last report, unable to pass a physical. Newly-signed Cody Latimer caught a career-best 19 passes last season. Roger Lewis caught 36 passes last season, but it’s anyone’s guess as to whether or not the new coaching staff sees Lewis as a legitimate third or fourth receiver.
