The New York Giants made the move in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft that everyone was expecting them to make when they selected Saquon Barkley with the second overall pick.

Whether that was the right move or the wrong move is an argument for another day, and won’t be resolved until years from now.

Unless the Giants trade down from 34th overall, they could well have their choice of all but one of these players:

Quarterback

Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma State [deep dive]

Kyle Lauletta, Richmond [prospect profile]

Offensive Line

Will Hernandez, OG, UTEP [prospect profile]

James Daniels, OC, Iowa [prospect profile]

Connor Williams, OL, Texas [prospect profile]

Austin Corbett, OG, Nevada [prospect profile]

Tyrell Crosby, OG, Oregon [prospect profile]

EDGE

Harold Landry, DE/OLB, Boston College [prospect profile]

Josh Sweat, DE/OLB, FSU [prospect profile]

Lorenzo Carter, OLB, Georgia [prospect profile]

Defensive Back

Isaiah Oliver, CB, Colorado

Joshua Jackson, CB, Iowa [prospect profile]

Carlton Davis, CB, Auburn [prospect profile]

Justin Reid, S, Stanford [prospect profile]
