D.J. Fluker has found a new home with the Seattle Seahawks, per a report from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

Fluker played six games for the New York Giants last season before suffering a season-ending toe injury. He became a fan favorite for his powerful play, as well as a favorite of the media for his passionate press conferences.

The 27-year-old was a first-round pick by the San Diego Chargers in 2013. He signed a one-year deal with the Giants last season.

At this point, the Giants’ likely configuration is Patrick Omameh at one guard and either John Jerry, John Greco or Jon Halapio at the other guard.

The Giants have now moved on from four players who were significant parts of last season’s offensive line — Fluker, Bobby Hart, Justin Pugh and Weston Richburg. Ereck Flowers will move from left tackle with the signing of Nate Solder.

The Giants also figure to add to their offensive line in the 2018 NFL Draft.
