NFL free agency tracker, 3/13: Kirk Cousins to the Minnesota Vikings

Tracking some of the notable non-Giants free agency moves

Tuesday has been a very busy day for free agency around the NFL. From Kirk Cousins signing with the Minnesota Vikings to Drew Brees re-signing with the New Orleans Saints, lets take a look at all of the moves that have been made.

  • The Jets and Teddy Bridgewater are trying to work out a deal.
  • Sam Bradford will sign with the Arizona Cardinals, per reports.
  • Former Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins has signed a fully-guaranteed three-year, $84 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings. Cousins threw for 4,093 yards, 27 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in 2017.
  • The New Orleans Saints have re-signed quarterback Drew Brees to a two-year, $50 million contract. The deal includes an opt-out for Brees following the first year of the contract. Brees threw for 4,334 yards, 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2017.
  • The Denver Broncos have inked former Vikings quarterback Case Keenum to a two-year deal. Keenum threw for 3,547 yards, 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 2017.
  • The Cleveland Browns have decided to tender wide receiver Josh Gordon. This prohibits him from negotiating with other teams and locks him into a $790,000 salary for next season. Gordon caught 18 passes for 335 yards in five games last season.
  • The Chicago Bears signed former Philadelphia Eagles tight end Trey Burton to a four-year, $32 million deal. Burton had 23 catches for 248 yards and five touchdowns last season.
  • The Bears signed former Miami Dolphins kicker Cody Parkey to a deal. The 26-year-old kicker made 21-of-23 field goals last season.
  • The Eagles inked former Detroit Lions defensive lineman Haloti Ngata to one-year deal. The 340 pound interior defensive lineman has been to five Super Bowls in his career.
  • Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny announced he will retire. He played 11 seasons between the Buffalo Bills and Jaguars in his career.
  • The Baltimore Ravens have exercised the option of cornerback Brandon Carr. Carr brought in four interceptions in 2017.
  • The Arizona Cardinals are expected to sign quarterback Sam Bradford. The former Viking threw for 382 yards and three touchdowns in one game last season.
  • The Washington Redskins have inked former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson to a five-year, $40 million contract. Richardson racked up 44 catches for 703 yards in 2017.
  • The Miami Dolphins have signed former New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola to a deal. He caught 61 passes for 651 yards last season.
