The New York Giants have yet to hire an offensive coordinator or quarterbacks coach, and right now there seems to be a waiting game that revolves around the Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings, of course, need an offensive coordinator because Pat Shurmur is now head coach of the Giants. Adam Schefter’s report this morning regarding the Vikings’ interest in John DeFilippo is one worth noting.
Vikings would like to talk with Eagles’ QB coach John DeFilippo about their OC job but cannot do so until 10 days until after Philadelphia’s season ends, which would be Feb. 14, per league source. Right now, Vikings appear willing to wait.

Minnesota quarterbacks coach Kevin Stefanski is a candidate for offensive coordinator in Minnesota and with the Giants. Might this development push Stefanski to join Shurmur in New York? We’ll see.
