The NFL Combine is the showcase for NFL Draft hopefuls. It is also, however, a place where the free agency chatter abounds, with executive, coaches, and scouts all in Indianapolis. Draft analyst Tony Pauline dropped several New York Giants free agency nuggets in his Tuesday evening draft notebook.

  • Weston Richburg is “unlikely” to return to the Giants, and “Richburg to the Jets is something both sides want to happen.”
  • The Giants will make a “concerted effort” to sign free agent guard Andrew Norwell. Baltimore Ravens center Ryan Jensen could be a “contingency plan.”
  • Pauline said that guard D.J. Fluker is “unlikely to stay with the Giants.”
