Well, this news certainly changes things. The New York Giants have ruled Odell Beckham Jr, out of Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins due to a quad injury.

Beckham was not on the Giants’ injury report until Friday, after he had done on Facebook to admit that his quad had been bothering him since he was leg-whipped on the final play of a Week 12 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Coach Pat Shurmur said on Friday that Beckham was “going to be fine.”

After Beckham was limited in a Saturday morning practice, however, the team decided to hold him out of Sunday’s game.

The Giants are currently 3.5-point favorites to win Sunday in Landover, Md. That line is likely to shrink following this news.

The Giants are expecting tight end Evan Engram to play after he missed the last two games with a hamstring injury. They will need him with their best wide receiver sidelined.
