Giants-Redskins final injury report: Odell Beckham limited with quad issue

Beckham is expected to play against Redskins

NFL: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Odell Beckham Jr. was added to the New York Giants injury report on Friday. The star wide received was listed as limited in practice due to a quad injury. Beckham is expected to play Sunday against the Washington Redskins.

“Odell has got a bruised quad, so we just gave him a little time,” coach Pat Shurmur said Friday. “He’s going to be fine.”

Linebackers Tae Davis (ankle) and B.J. Goodson (neck) were also listed as limited. Both of those players are considered questionable for Sunday, when the 4-8 Giants travel to Maryland to face the 6-6 Redskins.

Linebacker Lorenzo Carter (hip), tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) and wide receiver Sterling Shepard (rib) were full practice participants and are expected to play.

Engram has missed the last two games and has played in only seven games thus far. Engram said Friday it’s “really important” to end the season on a good note.

“We have a couple more opportunities left, couple more division games, big games, and it’s a couple of opportunities to go out and keep doing what we’ve been doing and that’s been working hard, that’s been playing good football,” Engram said.
