If the New York Giants were hoping to address their quarterback position with their first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, they have one less option with which to do so.
Oregon Ducks quarterback Justin Herbert has announced that he will be returning to School for his senior season.

Herbert emerged this season as one of the top quarterback prospects eligible for the 2019 NFL Draft. However, rumors began swirling that he would forego the allure of being a top draft pick and return to school. While the money associated with being top 10, or top 5 draft pick are certainly tempting, Oregon holds a special place in Herbert’s heart.
Not only will Herbert benefit as a quarterback from another year in college, and he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try and help his beloved school win a National Championship.
There is the added incentive that he will have the opportunity to play with his younger brother, who will join him as a tight end next year.
This year’s quarterback class just got leaner, but the 2020 class has the potential to be as stacked as the 2018 class was.
